Angel Rivera
Angel Rivera, a.k.a. "The Angel of Boom," is the producer of "The Monsters in the Morning" and one of Central Florida's most sought-after professional DJs.
Angel got his start at Real Radio 104.1 learning from the best; he worked on the production team for "The Philips Phile," hosted by radio icon Jim Philips.
Later, the self-professed gearhead revved up the airwaves as host "Hot Ride Radio" on WTKS-FM, where he talked about all things automotive. He has also worked in the promotions department at one of WTKS's sister stations.
Before joining "The Monsters," he was co-host and producer of "SBK Live," a current events, comedy, and pop culture talk show on Real Radio 104.1.
For too many years to count, Angel has been named by Orlando Weekly readers as "Best Club DJ" in it's annual readers poll.
But his prowess behind the board extends beyond music. Angel has emerged as an unexpected contender in the realm of sports commentary, with nominations for "Best Local Radio Sportscaster" in Orlando Weekly's "Best Of" issue, winning that title in 2023.
In 2023, Angel served as the house DJ for the XFL football team the Orlando Guardians.
